On Thursday March 17th, Anti-Flag was in Washington DC on Capitol Hill with Congressman Jim McDermott, Congressman Pete Stark, and Congresswoman Lynn Woolsey. They held a press conference in an effort to stop a provision buried in the No Child Left Behind Act, requiring schools to send student’s private information directly to the military unless the student “opts out”; meaning that a request letter from the student’s parent or guardian must be submitted to the school to keep the student’s records private.
At the press conference, Justin Sane, made a statement on behalf of Anti-Flag and
