Ideas Are Bulletproof Records and Solidarity Recordings are planing to release a
4 way split 7 inch vinyl record to be released in September/October 2008:
Featuring two amazing Seattle WA punk bands and two amazing Portland OR punk bands.
The 7 inch record will be titled “The Birth of the Northwestern gentleman”
featuring Seattle WA’s “The Damage Done” and “Success!” (formerly known as Rough Chukar),
as well as Portland OR’s “Anchor Down” and “Drawback”. Each band has one song on the 7inch
and the record will most likely have limited color packaging for each of the different bands
merch copies and will only be pressed on colored vinyl limited to 500 copies and not to be
repressed, when these things go they are gone! It will receive distribution through
Suburban Home and the Vinyl Collective…online. All of the bands are covering all of the
manufacturing costs and layouts and will be pressing 52 hand numbered and limited edition
silk screened covers to be used for the distro copies and label contests give aways! Rad!
All of the for-mentioned bands will have the 7 inch records for sale at their shows as of
the release date. There will be two record release shows (one in Portland and one in Seattle)
featuring all four bands as well. Stay tuned for more details…
