12 Summers old have grown in popularity since their first appearance in the Warped Tour in 2004 and followed up with playing in the 2007 and 2008 warped tours in the past. This album is exactly what you could expect from a pop punk band who’s popularity has been brought to the spotlight from these tours. I’m not saying this is a bad thing at all since as a band you really needs to “have something to offer” to get in Warped tour but at the same time they really fit into the same nitch as pop punk bands that are on said tour.
Having said that this album is enjoyable. Its your basic pop punk release by expiereinced and tallented musicians who are damn good at what they do. But after listening to all their tracks nothing really blew my mind. Yeah they do what they do very well but the music didn’t grab me and shake me like a baby as I was hoping. I shoudl also point out that the new pop punk style that has been growing in popularity these days really isn’t my thing, though if its what you are into then you could really get into “this Could Get Dangerous”.
