Project 86 are back with their 6th full length album and this time things have changed. “Rival Factions” is the most diverse, intense and ever changing album that the band ever released. While on the previous albums the band tried to release good quality, hard rock music, on the new album, Project 86 try to reach new levels of rock and roll development, with the input of new elements as chaotic guitar riffs, yet on melodic songs, with intricate and complex structures.
“Rival Factions” features songs like “The Kane Mutiny” and “Put Your Lips To The TV” that have the ability to create a new sound in the rock scene, putting elements as strong heavy guitar riffs and bass lines that alternate to rock and roll rhythms and harmonic vocal lines.
Recommended if you enjoy good rock and roll fused with post hardcore, ala At The Drive-In meets Muse.
