Failures’ Union stream debut album and tour

failures-union-_in-what-way-coverBuffalo’s Failures’ Union have launched a stream of their sophomore album, In What Way, to be released this fall on Paper + Plastick.

You can the album in its entirety on the band’s Punknews.org profile page.

The LP will be available for pre-order through Paper + Plastick on October 16th. If you can’t wait that long, you can purchase a digital copy now on the label’s site.

The download version of the album also contains bonus tracks, including a cover of “Downbound Train” by Bruce Springsteen, “Sleeping Weather” by Cheap Girls and an acoustic version of their own “The New Walk Home.”
The band describes themselves as a mid-90’s influenced indie rock band, and has gained comparisons to The Lemonheads, Gin Blossoms, Buffalo Tom, Guided By Voices, The Pixies, and Counting Crows.
Failures’ Union features members of Lemuria, The Exit Strategy, and The Grail.
They recently released a split 7″ with Cheap Girls on Art of the Underground. Their previous album, Sinker, was released on One Percent Press in 2007. Other releases include an 8-song EP on Art of the Underground entitled You Know Who and a 2-song 7″ in the Art of the Underground Singles Series.

You can also check out some live footage of the band from this past March here.
Failures’ Union will be touring this fall with good buddies and label mates Cheap Girls, with stops at THE FEST 8 in Gainesville, FL and FUN FUN FUN FEST in Austin, TX.
