Hardcore experimental punk act Flailing Uterus has released their debut EP free through Blessed Milk Records. The EP can be downloaded for free here or streamed at Last.fm.

With their highly anticipated new record nearing completion, the punk rock veterans Rancid are turning their attention towards a new project – a summer tour that will mark their first live shows since 2006.
 
Rancid – Tim Armstrong (vocals, guitar), Lars Frederiksen (vocals, guitar), Matt Freeman (bass, vocals) and Branden Steineckert (drums) – have dedicated the last several months to perfecting their seventh studio album.  Working with Epitaph president Brett Gurewitz, who helmed the project as producer, and mixer Joe Barresi (Tool, Bad Religion), the album is slated for release later this year.

 It has been two years since the last Rancid tour, and five years since the last Rancid record.  2008 promises to be an exhilarating year for both the band and Rancid fans alike.

Anti-Flag Music Video shoot Wednesday April 2nd 2008 in the Glendale, CA
area. You must be 15 years or up and Bring ID to the shoot and be willing to
sign a release for participation in the video. If you’re under 18,

Description: Animalistic, blood-thirsty fans at a world war roller derby that
Anti-Flag is performing in the center of. (Its gonna be crazy, also, its gonna

Rudimentary Peni, one of the best and most mysterious bands of the English punk scene return with their first album of completely new material since 2004’s “Archaic EP”.
“No More Pain” is no exception and keeps within the boundaries of ’77 fast punk and the ’80’s style of slower, chugging material, though always staying clear of the punk-metal crossover that infected so many bands of that ’80’s period.

Final track on the album “Pachelbel’s Canon In E” is a version of the most famous piece of music written by classical composer Johann Pachelbel. It was written in or around 1680 and is more commonly known as “Pachelbel’s Canon (in D)”.

As always, artwork is designed by the wonderful Nick Blinco, a revered cult figure in punk and avant-garde circles in Britain and America.

“No More Pain” will be available to buy from the Southern Records Webshop from the beginning of May.
