I really like NoFX and this interview it shows they really aren’t sell outs and a good thing with this interview is that now I know NoFX sounded like Coaster 81 and that’s pretty Rad!

mike,why,oh why do you not ever do your “mystic” stuff?ok,”six pack girls” you do but everything on mystic was the best punk ever.im fucking 41 years old and ive lost the little record long ago.
i remember going to Dead shows in long beach and at irvine medows in the mid to late 80′s. we would just post up in the back of my friends truck drinking beers and makeing fun of hippies with liberal animation at full volume.vegatarian was a big hit with the dead heads.those were the days.

Dude is an inspiration. Fuck egos and rock stars. Mike has shared his wisdom with anyone that wants to listen to him… that it’s all about having fun, perfecting the craft, and not trying to get big overnight. Fame usually ruins art. I think my favorite new NOFX song is ‘Agony of Victory’, which pretty much summarizes Mikes view on life. And I couldn’t agree more.
