Blink 182 has broken up. Tom, Travis and Mark are now all in other bands. Truepunk.com's main site has more information on that.

Blink-182 is on the cover of the new Rolling Stone, and there is also an article about them in the new issue of the magazine.  The guys were also on the front page of msn.com on 7.15.00 .

Blink-182 Drummer Injures Hand, Will Sit Out Tour

Blink-182's
Travis Barker

Blink-182 drummer Travis Barker injured his hand prior to a show in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio on Sunday, and will be forced to sit out the remainder of the band's summer tour with Bad Religion and Fenix TX.

Fenix TX guitarist Damon Delapaz has been tapped by the boys in Blink-182 to take over the drumming duties from Barker, who injured his hand during a fistfight outside a fast food eatery in Cuyahoga Falls.

A source close to the band told MTV News that Barker was jumped by two men as he was leaving the restaurant with his girlfriend. The drummer broke one of his pinky fingers during the scrape, although neither Barker nor the band currently plan on seeking charges against the two assailants.

Delapaz, who despite playing guitars in Fenix TX won a "Best Drummer In Texas" contest sponsored by Zildjian a few years back, replaced Barker in time for the Cuyahoga Falls gig, which went on as scheduled.

Barker was transported to a nearby hospital, where his hand was placed in a cast that he is expected to wear for at least the next four weeks.

The members of Blink-182 have been friends with Fenix TX for quite some time and the two bands have toured together before. Blink bassist Mark Hoppus currently serves as the manager for Fenix TX, which used to be known as Riverfenix prior to changing its name in 1999 and releasing its self-titled debut.

Blink-182's tour with Bad Religion and Fenix TX is currently scheduled through a July 8 date in Honolulu, and Blink-182 has just set a November 28 release date for its forthcoming live album.
